Registered Nurse (RN) - House Supervisor

Charge Nurse Nursing

Schedule: Night Shifts (6pm-6:30am) every other weekend; Holiday Rotation: as needed

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• Two-year degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
• Wisconsin Registered Nursing license required
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 1 month of hire
• ACLS, PALS, NRP certification required or to be obtained within 12 months of hire
• 3+ years related work experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee communication related to the coordination of patient care across departments.
• Conduct daily rounds in departments to assess and communicate patient transfers.
• Lead in setting a professional work environment and mentor staff.
• Assist staff in providing direct patient care as needed.
• Determine proper patient placement for admissions.
• Activate and manage Incident Command during a Mass Casualty Incident.
• Coordinate staffing needs between departments.
• Perform other duties as requested.
