Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Specialist to support daily customer service and order management activities in a fast-paced environment. This role will focus on quote preparation, order entry, order changes, schedule management, and customer communication. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable managing a high volume of emails while balancing multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely customer quotes based on contract, standard, and special pricing.
• Enter customer orders and manage order changes and delivery schedules.
• Monitor order status and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely processing.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently, escalating concerns as needed.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including Planning, to process expedite requests.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all processes and quality standards are followed.
• Provide clear, professional communication to customers and internal teams.
• Assist with additional administrative and customer service tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of customer service, order management, or administrative experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a high volume of emails and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management, follow-through, and sense of urgency.
• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
