Here, your work directly influences how we invest and how customers experience our products—at meaningful scale.As a Data Science Senior Associate at JPMorganChase within Consumer & Community Banking Data & Analytics, you will lead business- and finance-facing measurement of marketing performance, with a focus on customer acquisition quality and portfolio investment optimization. You will partner closely with marketing, test design, and stakeholder teams to design sound measurement approaches, interpret results, and translate findings into clear recommendations. You will operate with a strong controls mindset, producing accurate, timely, and reproducible analyses that improve both customer and business outcomes.Job responsibilitiesLead analytics strategy, planning, and execution for Chase First Banking marketing campaignsDeliver regular campaign performance measurement and reportingConduct unstructured, ad hoc analyses of customer behavior and engagementExecute A/B (split) and incrementality test readouts, including interpretation and recommendationsPerform profitability, optimization, and return-on-investment analyses to inform investment decisionsConsult on experimental design and data collection, developing new measurement approaches with stakeholders and partner teamsTranslate results into clear narratives and present insights to stakeholders and senior managementContribute to innovation initiatives that advance analytics methods and scalabilityCollaborate across Marketing Analytics and Test Design teams while supporting an inclusive team environmentMaintain a rigorous controls environment to ensure accurate, timely, and reproducible resultsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsMaster’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Data Science/Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related field)3+ years of experience applying statistical methods to real-world business problems3+ years of experience using SQL and at least one of the following: SAS, Python, or RDemonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar) to accelerate analysis and code developmentExperience using data visualization techniques for analysis and stakeholder-ready storytellingHands-on experience with A/B (split) and incrementality testing methodologies, including experimental design, significance evaluation, and translating results into business recommendationsStrong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with experience communicating effectively across levels and partner groupsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsIntellectual curiosity and motivation to build deep subject matter expertise in a focus areaStrategic thinking with an ability to stay anchored to measurable business goalsStrong organization skills with the ability to prioritize multiple workstreams effectivelyStrong relationship-building skills and comfort partnering with key stakeholdersTableau experience preferredChase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
