GENERAL SUMMARY
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Location: Saint Clair Shores, MI
Be the master orchestrator of our surgical operations! You'll coordinate surgery schedules with precision and finesse, maximizing the efficiency of our schedules,and talented staff while keeping physicians and patients happy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate strategically with physician offices to gather essential information and craft surgery schedules that align with department guidelines while honoring physician preferences and patient needs.
- Optimize resource allocation by strategically assigning operating suites, equipment, and time blocks to ensure maximum efficiency and seamless operations.
- Drive accuracy and prevent delays by ensuring all demographic, billing, and insurance information is accurately entered into electronic medical records and coordinating with Patient Admitting to keep surgeries on track.
- Stay agile and responsive by rescheduling surgeries as needed to accommodate emergencies and unexpected events without missing a beat.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
- Medical office experience preferred
