Travel IMCU Registered Nurse - $2,410 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Lynchburg, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Intermediate Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing patient care to a diverse patient population, including med-surg, tele, cardiac IMCU acuity level patients, neuro patients, and CVA patients. Candidates must have prior travel experience and charge experience, with a focus on supporting a collaborative and supportive healthcare environment. Job Details Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Active VA or Compact Nursing License, at least 2 years of relevant experience, travel experience required for all Central positions, and recent charge experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner EMR system and additional supporting certifications are preferred but not required. Additional Information: Orientation occurs every other Monday, with start date on 10/05/2026, and end date on 01/02/2027. The unit handles a mix of patient diagnoses and maintains a flexible schedule with the possibility of working weekends. Limited RTO is available, and client can cancel due to census up to 36 hours prior to an assignment. Candidate must submit work history with 2 years minimum experience, explain all employment gaps over 90 days, Skills Checklist, and a copy of Nursys/license. All requested time off should be included at the time of submission. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty and prior charge experience.
