The H.T. Hackney Co. is a privately-owned, broad-line convenience store distributor that has been serving customers for over 134 years and is looking for a talented and self-motivated individual to work within our Sales Team as a Food Service Specialist in the Knoxville, TN area.

The ideal candidate can spot and address customer needs through problem-solving and teamwork with fellow service members, while bringing experience in route sales and food service.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Food Service Specialist will be responsible for but not limited to the following tasks:

• Create and develop customer service menus
• Sell and promote foodservice solutions
• Hands on training with customer owners and employees
• Present kitchen layouts and store design
• Participate in monthly internal sales meetings
• Interact with customers to ensure their needs are met

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in related role/industry
• Ability to work productively within team and remote environments
• High level time management & organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness and ability to travel
• Comfortable in a client facing role
