Claims Service Specialist

Position Overview As an Auto Claims Specialist, you will reassure customers and offer solutions when they need us most. You will guide policyholders through their coverage and the steps to get back on the road safely. Key Responsibilities Manage incoming calls and collect accident facts. Investigate claim details and collect statements from involved parties. Assist customers in the process of getting back on the road. Resolve customer concerns to ensure a positive experience. Drive customer satisfaction through meaningful interactions. Compensation & Incentives Starting Salary: $24.32 per hour ($49,000 annually). Differentials: +10% for evening shifts; +20% for weekends. Health and wellness benefits starting Day 1 (medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts and more). Paid Time Off accrues immediately, plus 13 paid holidays annually (8 fixed, 5 floating). 401(k) with up to 6% match, vested immediately. Tuition assistance up to $5,250 annually. Licensing and continuing education at no cost, including hundreds of eLearning courses. Work 80% on-site and 20% off-site after training; additional off‑site work weeks annually. Schedule & Location Training 100% in‑office (6‑9 months). Post training: 4 days a week in office and 1 day a week remote. Office Location: 14111 Danielson St, Poway, CA 92064. Requirements High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred. Customer‑facing claims experience preferred. Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and empathy skills. Adaptable, detail‑oriented, able to prioritize and multitask across platforms. Experience in high‑volume call centers with KPIs and measurable goals. Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
