Senior Project Manager

job summary:
Our client is seeking a high-caliber Senior Project Manager in Beloit, WI, to spearhead complex commercial projects. This pivotal role demands a leader who can command site activities, drive rigorous safety standards, and deliver exceptional quality within tight budget constraints. You will mentor talent and serve as the primary architect of project success from inception to final closeout. Candidates shouldhave 7+ yrs in commercial, high end residential/luxury construction and understand blueprint reading, estimation, schedules, budgets and RFIs. You will be running kick off meetings and overseeing subcontractors. Relocation assistance is available.

responsibilities:

• Project Initiation & Planning: Conduct pre-construction and internal kick-off meetings, procure necessary permits, and execute at least 90% of subcontractor contracts within 30 days of owner contract signing.

• Schedule & Financial Control: Develop and update detailed project schedules weekly and monthly, manage project costs, issue timely change orders/RFIs, and complete accurate monthly cost reports.

• Site Oversight & Safety: Conduct frequent site visits and provide daily oversight of superintendents and subcontractors to ensure strict compliance with company policies, quality expectations, and safety procedures.

• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open communication with owners, architects, and engineers, distributing weekly project updates and leading regular on-site meetings to resolve conflicts.

• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Collaborate with and mentor Project Managers on larger jobs, conduct performance evaluations for superintendents, and support human resource functions.
