Noise levels range from moderate to high but remain manageable and not unbearable. The warehouse area can be cold in cooler weather and hot in warmer weather, so you should be comfortable working in varying temperatures. You work around chemical smells and manufacturing equipment, following safety guidelines while handling tools, parts, and materials.

Job Description

Responsibilities
- Mount and dismount tires according to established procedures, ensuring proper fit and quality.
- Install and remove parts from vehicles, following work instructions and using appropriate tools.
- Prepare parts for powder coating by sanding, cleaning, and inspecting components for defects or contamination.
- Use power and hand tools safely and effectively to disassemble parts and perform production tasks.
- Handle, move, and lift products weighing more than 50 lbs as part of daily duties.
- Support general production activities, including basic mechanical tasks and assembly-related work.
- Assist with inventory management, including organizing parts, tracking materials, and maintaining stock accuracy.
- Participate in shipping and receiving tasks, such as loading and unloading materials and preparing items for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety guidelines, especially when working around chemicals and machinery.
- Work reliably and consistently, following schedules, completing assigned tasks, and supporting team goals.
- 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.
- Mechanical experience or mechanical aptitude, including comfort working with vehicle parts and components.
- Ability to safely lift and move products in excess of 50 lbs.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools in a production or mechanical setting.
- Comfort working around chemical smells and in an environment where chemicals are used.
- Attention to detail when sanding, cleaning, and preparing parts for powder coating.
- Ability to perform general production, general labor, and basic mechanical tasks.
- Reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to follow directions and safety procedures.
- Experience with tire mounting or automotive-related tasks (preferred but not required).
- Experience installing and removing parts from vehicles (preferred but not required).
- Background in inventory management and shipping & receiving activities.
- Familiarity with using hand tools, mechanical tools, and basic shop equipment.
- Openness to learning new skills and taking on cross-functional production tasks.
- Willingness to work in a contract-to-hire role with potential for long-term employment.
- Ability to adapt to varying temperatures and moderate to high noise levels in a manufacturing environment.
