We're looking for experienced and dependable Shift Leads who are ready to take ownership of daily operations while delivering an exceptional guest experience - one scoop at a time. From making our ice cream fresh in-house to leading a high-performing team, you'll play a key role in bringing Alice Handel's legacy to life in the Pacific Northwest.What We Expect From Shift LeadsLead by example and create a positive, fun, and high-performing environmentJump in to serve guests, solve problems, and support the team during peak timesMaintain excellent communication and professionalism with guests and coworkersBe flexible and adapt to changing needs during busy shiftsMonitor, support, and complete opening, mid-day, and closing checklistsMake fresh ice cream in-store following Handel's precise recipes and quality standardsTrain and mentor new team members and promote accountability and teamworkEnsure FIFO product rotation and maintain inventory accuracyEnforce food safety and sanitization practices at all timesCount registers and safes accurately and complete daily reconciliationHandle guest complaints with patience and professionalism, escalating when neededEnsure employees are clocking in/out properly and staying on taskAccept and organize deliveries, and manage cash drops or bank runs as neededLock up and secure the store (PM shift leads), including setting alarmsMust be available to work evenings and weekends.
