Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to:Quality Manager__The work model for the role is: Onsite, Jonesboro, ArkansasThis position works 10 hour shifts Monday - Thursday, with OT as needed to meet customer demand.**This is a Safety Sensitive position under the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment of 2016.Your role and responsibilities:· Lead and coordinate the daily activities of Quality Auditors, Chemical Technicians, and other assigned quality personnel.· Provide hands-on quality support to manufacturing and make timely disposition or escalation decisions within assigned authority.· Monitor production processes for compliance with specifications, drawings, procedures, inspection plans, control plans, and quality standards.· Conduct and support Process Audits and other assigned compliance checks.· Verify adherence to standard work, inspection methods, test requirements, and approved process controls.· Lead or support structured root cause investigations using tools such as 5 Why, fishbone analysis, A3 problem solving, and corrective action reports.· Coordinate corrective and preventive actions for internal defects, customer concerns, supplier issues, audit findings, and process failures.· Partner with Operations and Engineering to reduce scrap, rework, defects, and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).· Use quality data and recurring issue trends to identify improvement priorities and verify the effectiveness of implemented actions.Other duties as assignedQualifications for the role:· Associate degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred. Equivalent manufacturing quality and leadership experience may be considered.· Three to five years of manufacturing quality experience preferred.· Previous team lead, supervisory, or demonstrated informal leadership experience preferred.· Experience in a high-volume or regulated manufacturing environment preferred.Note: Candidates must have a work authorization that permits them to work for ABB in the U.S. (Include on postings for roles that will not offer sponsorship).Why ABB?ABB Installation Products Division (formerly Thomas&Betts), helps manage the connection, protection and distribution of electrical power from source to socket. The Division also manufactures solutions for medium-voltage applications used in the utility market under its marquee brands including Elastimold reclosers and switchgear, capacitor switches, current limiting fuses, Homac distribution connectors, Hi-Tech Valiant full-range current limiting fuse for fire mitigation, faulted current indicators and distribution connectors, cable accessories and apparatus with products for overhead and underground distribution.
