Commercial Underwriter

Commercial Credit Underwriter Location: Dunwoody or Duluth, GA We are partnering with a community-focused bank in the Metro Atlanta area seeking a Commercial Credit Underwriter to support a team of commercial lenders in underwriting and managing credit relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a credit professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, relationship-driven environment with exposure to a wide range of commercial transactions. Key Responsibilities Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow to assess borrower risk Underwrite commercial loan requests across C&I, CRE, and SBA Prepare clear, concise credit memos and recommendations Partner closely with lenders to structure deals appropriately Monitor portfolio performance and assist with renewals and modifications Ensure adherence to internal credit policies and regulatory standards Qualifications 3–8+ years of commercial credit/underwriting experience Strong financial analysis and credit structuring skills Experience with commercial loan underwriting Ability to work cross-functionally with relationship managers Community or regional bank experience preferred Why Join Exposure to full deal lifecycle in a lean team Collaborative culture with direct lender interaction Stable opportunity tied to planned retirement Local market focus (Metro Atlanta only) #J-18808-Ljbffr
