Therapist - Occupational Therapist

$1713.60/week –

Job Summary:

Provide specialized occupational therapy services in an inpatient rehabilitation and acute care setting, working with a diverse patient population. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate patient recovery and improve functional outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients needs and develop customized treatment plans to meet their occupational therapy goals.

• Implement therapeutic interventions utilizing equipment such as Lite Gait, BITS, Nustep, and IASTM.

• Document patient progress accurately within the Meditech system and ensure compliance with facility policies.

• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and strategies to support healing and independence.

• Adapt treatment plans based on patient response and progress, remaining flexible with scheduling requirements.

• Collaborate with other rehabilitation professionals, including PTs, SLPs, PTAs, COTAs, and RNs, for coordinated patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid occupational therapy licensure with a minimum of 2 years experience preferred.

• Possess basic occupational therapy skills with a willingness to learn and adapt.

• Demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude toward new equipment and technologies.

• Be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.

• Maintain a professional appearance according to the uniform dress code (light grey scrubs).

• Inpatient rehab and acute care experience preferred but not mandatory.
