Fitness Desk Staff

JOB SUMMARYPark Center Health and Fitness is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to be a part of our fitness team.The Fitness Desk Staff member is responsible for overseeing the fitness center during assigned shifts, and performing the following duties, but not limited to:Check patrons into the computer system, answer phone calls and complete transactions.Ensure patrons are following facility rules, encourage proper equipment sanitation, and provide exceptional customer service.Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility by refilling amenities, completing laundry, and cleaning locker rooms, fitness equipment, and the fitness desk area.Conduct facility tours and track prospective member inquiries.Provide equipment orientations for new members.Administer basic first aid to patrons when needed.Perform duties that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time.QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.Friendly, enthusiastic, and energetic personality required.Previous customer service experience is highly desirable.Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone.Proficiency with computers and basic computer applications.Applicants must be at least 18 years old of age.SCHEDULING & PAYThis is a year-round part-time. Seasonal applicants will not be considered.
