Interventional Radiology RN
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift 4x10-Hour schedule (07:00 - 17:30). Weekend coverage varies depending on staffing, with the possibility of every 3-4 weekends.
The Interventional Radiology RN will be responsible for providing patient care during various interventional radiology procedures. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with CT guided biopsies, fistulograms, GJ-tube placements, and lower extremity angiograms.
- Monitor patients during nuclear medicine/stress tests, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and Y90 procedures.
- Provide procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Participate in post-procedure care and documentation using EPIC charting system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably 3-5 years.
- ICU experience required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Valid state RN license; compact license preferred.
