GL Specialist (AR & Fixed Asset Mgmt)

Prepare journal entries, reconciliations for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process. Provide support document and prepare for various internal audits and also support the quarter end review and year-end audit processes. Perform company internal controls by following accounting and company policies and procedures. Review and track customer activities in the ERP system to record each customers cash receipts, adjustments, GL account coding and posting of cash receipts on time correctly. Contact customers to collect overdue accounts balance and report reasons for non-collected payment. Prepare cash forecast and monitor account collections based on AR aging reports. Prepare monthly reconciliations of cash receipts based on billed statement from Account Receivable Report. Participate in cross training within the team to transfer knowledge of each members roles and responsibilities. Perform ad-hoc reporting as required to communicate with HQ. Perform other job related duties as required.

Bachelors Degree required. 1+ year of experience in Accounting or related experience required. Ability to collect and analyze data to report so that management may perform strategic analysis. Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information. Strong knowledge of financial, cost and management accounting principles. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred.
