Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Portland, Oregon. This position involves providing specialized patient care in a short-term acute care setting, primarily focusing on adult and geriatrics. The role requires flexibility to float between units and adherence to unit procedures and safety protocols. Job Details Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid Oregon state license, at least 1 year of nursing experience, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, and experience with medical-surgical and telemetry patient care Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in medical-surgical units and telemetry, experience with IV management and cardiac monitoring, and familiarity with complex wound care Float: Several medical-surgical units Additional Information: Candidates should have experience with insulin administration, oral suctioning, colostomy/ileostomy management, and bowel obstruction patients. Flexibility to work holidays and float to neighboring facilities may be required. Candidates must have a vehicle for this assignment.
