Set Up Operator Level 1 Spring Dept.

They have been supporting various industries including medical, defense, aerospace, and other government industries. They make a wide variety of parts for a large number of customers! Set-Up Operator Level 1 for the Spring Department on 1st Shift. Selling Points Large growing company! Opportunity for 15 Days PTO in year 1. Strong Medical, Dental, Vision, life, and 401K Responsibilities Ensure operation of departmental machinery. Make minor repairs to machine tools. Remove old tool from machinery and replace with new tool. Set up Machines May be required to assist or otherwise instruct other personnel. Performs other duties as may be required. Qualifications High School, Trade School graduate or demonstrated equivalent skills. Good math skills Ability to read blue prints Good mechanical skills Good communication skills Knowledge in the use of simple gauges (i.e. plug gauge) Visual ability (corrected) to read directions and prints and to inspect parts closely to ensure that they meet specifications. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate machinery for precision work. Physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping and bending. Ability to lift objects from lower to a higher position or moving horizontally from position-to-position. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted Schedule 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Pay Rate $23 Hourly
