About the Role We are looking for a Sales & Design Specialist at Herman Miller. As the face of our brand, you will guide clients through a personalized journey, blending your design sensibility with consultative selling to help them create spaces that support their wellness and productivity. This role is more than retail; it offers the chance to become a trusted advisor and design consultant for clients who value quality, ergonomics, and timeless style. What You’ll Do Inspire and educate clients through in‑store demonstrations and personalized consultations. Design tailored solutions that align with clients’ needs, preferences, and wellness goals. Drive sales by building strong client relationships and proactively following up on leads. Collaborate with the A&D (Architecture & Design) community to grow brand awareness and partnerships. Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure a premium store experience. Process transactions and manage orders with accuracy and efficiency. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in retail sales, interior design, or client‑facing design consultation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client‑first mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design/rendering tools. Ability to lift/move items over 20 lbs and adhere to safety protocols. Additional considerations include candidate qualifications, experience, and market factors. You may also be eligible for a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive, and equity awards subject to program rules.
