ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 1.5 years of experience and possess strong clinical skills necessary for managing complex cases in the ICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, monitoring vital signs and interpreting medical data.
• Manage and administer medications, including continuous IV sedation and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Care for ventilated patients and manage arterial and central lines.
• Utilize advanced techniques for dysrhythmia management and interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs).
• Implement isolation precautions and utilize proper PPE as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1.5 years of clinical nursing experience in ICU settings.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS (NIHSS preferred).
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Must possess a valid RN license.
