YOUR DAY AS A ROOFING SHEET METAL FOREMAN

As a Roofing Sheet Metal Foreman, you will start your day by dispatching directly from home and traveling to your assigned project in Southeast Michigan. You will oversee the job from start to finish to ensure every project meets Four Seasons Kanga Roof's standards. You will run pre-job meetings with the Superintendent or Project Manager to review work orders, agree on labor budgets and crew size, and confirm material lists. Throughout the day, you will monitor safety to ensure OSHA compliance, manage the quality of the work to meet manufacturer specifications, and check materials daily to confirm readiness for the next phase. You will make sure every roof is watertight before leaving for the day and that all tools and materials are secured. Communication will be key—you will coordinate with the Sheet Metal Superintendent, general contractors, and building owners to keep projects on track. You will document progress in our CRM with photos and notes, and ensure that job sites are cleaned and organized daily.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation 4+ years of sheet metal experience with general roofing knowledge and skills Ability to run a 3-5 person crew effectively Knowledge and skills to install Metal Roof systems Competence with technology and ability to read and understand work orders Ability to set up ladders independently and work on commercial and residential roofs Capability to work in hot and cold weather and lift up to 50 lbs.
