CeLeen, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is seeking a Junior Logistician to support our USCG Small Boat Product Line (SBPL) client.

Responsibilities may include performing the following but are not limited to:

• Determining the extent and acceptability of interchangeable/substitute items and recommend any modification necessary to the equipment.
• Determining the effect of changes in maintenance on supply chain.
• Assessing and advising on the impact of equipment support program efforts Coast Guard wide.
• Applying ten (10) elements of logistics to SBPL supported assets.
• Drafting Equipment Integrated Logistics Support Plans for systems and equipment supported by SBPL.
• Applying principles of Reliability-Centered Maintenance and various standards such as MIL-P-24534 Planned Maintenance System, SAE RCM Standard: JA1011, ABS RCM, and MSG 3 to SBPL supported assets.
• Assessing and advising on the impact of Coast Guard, Navy, and Other Government Agency (OGA) small boat related programs on current SBPL support practices.
• Generating and maintaining maintenance standards in FLS, FLS-Mobile Asset Manager (MAM) modules and NESSS.
• Generating and maintaining maintenance parts information in FLS, FLS-MAM modules and NESSS.
• Generating, analyzing and altering allowance lists in NESSS.
• Providing assistance to Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) in the execution of various tasks that support the ACMS section with maintaining, developing and analyzing maintenance and supply records in the FLS.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Expected Salary range: $46 ,000-$58,000

Work Environment:

• Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
• Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
• Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Travel:

• 0-10% minimal travel.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to pass a federal background investigation including fingerprinting.
• Able to obtain favorable DHS Suitability.
• Understanding of the USCG and the SBPL.
• Experience in logistics in support of USCG maintenance and experience with the USCG Logistics Business Model.
• Experience in utilizing the FLS and NESSS.
• Working knowledge of Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems in additional to electronics systems Familiarity of USCG software.
• Detail oriented, self-starter.
• Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
• Professional proficiency in English is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Active DHS Suitability.
• Three years engaged in logistics in support of Coast Guard maintenance and a minimum of two years of experience with the Coast Guard Logistics Business Model.
• Experience in utilizing the FLS, FLS-MAM and/or NESSS.
• Two years of experience in utilizing the FLS and NESSS Demonstrate a working knowledge of Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems in additional to electronics systems Familiarity of USCG software.
