Facilities Maintenance Manager

This organization is building next-generation high-performance infrastructure to support advanced computing workloads. The Facilities & Maintenance Safety Manager will play a critical role in driving environmental, health, and safety (EHS) excellence across facility operations. This role is responsible for owning and executing end-to-end safety, hazardous materials, and environmental compliance programs within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The individual will partner closely with operations, facilities, and leadership teams to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements while supporting rapid scaling. Key Responsibilities Own EPA and RCRA hazardous waste compliance end-to-end, including manifests, generator status (LQG/SQG), accumulation area management (40 CFR Part 262), and disposal vendor audits Lead the GHS and Hazard Communication (HazCom) program, including SDS management and employee training Manage Maximum Allowable Quantities (MAQs) of hazardous materials per IFC/NFPA 400 and coordinate with local authorities (e.g., fire and air agencies) Develop, implement, and audit a facility-wide Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) program across multiple job functions Coordinate SPCC and EPCRA spill prevention initiatives and lead emergency response drills Maintain a comprehensive compliance calendar with zero missed regulatory deadlines Own safety and hazmat program budgets, vendor relationships, and continuous program improvements Manage and mentor environmental and safety technicians Qualifications Proven experience managing RCRA hazardous waste compliance end-to-end Strong experience with GHS / Hazard Communication programs , including SDS systems Experience managing hazardous material quantities under IFC / NFPA 400 and working with regulatory authorities (AHJ) Demonstrated experience managing safety or environmental teams, vendors, and budgets Experience developing and auditing Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) programs Experience coordinating SPCC and/or EPCRA programs , including emergency preparedness Proven ability to maintain 100% compliance with regulatory deadlines Preferred Experience with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems Familiarity with OSHA VPP programs CHMM or similar certification Experience with air permitting, emissions reporting, or environmental compliance tracking #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
