About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Partner Care to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for new partnership development, including initiating conversations and building relationships with Christian ministries that serve the poor. This role also involves deepening existing partnerships, fostering relationships, and working with academic leadership to develop creative solutions to meet the educational and training needs of partners, staff, and students. The Vice President will be expected to attend conferences and events, as well as participate in regular staff and spiritual meetings. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 10 years' experience in a Gospel Rescue Mission, with a strong background in nonprofit executive leadership, development, fundraising, business development, or sales. A commitment to the Christian mission and values of the organization is essential, as is the ability to build trust-based relationships and work with senior leaders. The role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to create and implement partnership solutions, and a proven track record in cultivating long-term partnerships. Technical expertise in CRM, Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows is necessary, as is the ability to initiate cold outreach and follow up professionally. The position is classified as a Ministerial role, involving spiritual functions such as supporting the spiritual needs of partner ministries and leading staff in worship and prayer.
