Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse located in Madison, Wisconsin. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care to adult and pediatric patients in a Level IV Trauma Center. Candidates are required to bring their current license on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details:

• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse
• Location: Madison, WI
• Shift Schedule: Evening and night shifts, 12-hour shifts as needed, primary shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM or 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last 3 years, WI RN or Compact RN license, BLS, PALS, ACLS (AHA ONLY), TNCC certifications, Epic charting system experience, minimum of 2 years of acute care experience in the specialty, Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Level I Trauma Center experience, previous charge nurse experience, teaching hospital experience, Meditech and Epic EMR experience, certifications including NIHSS and TNCC preferred
• Additional Qualifications: Must complete telemetry test with a passing score of 80% or higher in two attempts; availability to float as needed; experience with high-acuity emergency care for various clinical presentations including trauma, acute psychosis, neurological injuries, and complex medical conditions
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, RN license
• Experience: Minimum two (2) years of recent Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations
• Community Hospital Experience: Yes
• Travel Experience Required: Yes
