This contract opportunity allows you to use your pharmacy expertise to support medication safety, patient education, and quality healthcare services for the local Tribal community. You will work alongside a dedicated healthcare team in an outpatient setting while enjoying a predictable Monday–Friday schedule, no weekend or holiday requirements, and the professional autonomy that comes with serving an important healthcare mission. Position Details Start Date: July/August 2026 (credentialing and federal clearance may take up to 90 days) Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift Hours: Typically 40 hours per week | Outpatient Only | Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts Weekends/Holidays: No weekends and no holidays Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor Contract Length: Up to 1 year with extension options Location: Tsaile, Arizona Facility Information: Tsaile Health Center – Indian Health Service Position Overview The Outpatient Pharmacist will provide pharmaceutical services focused on medication safety, patient education, and collaborative outpatient care within the Tsaile Health Center . This role works closely with healthcare providers and clinical staff to ensure safe medication management and support positive patient outcomes within the Tribal healthcare setting. Requirements Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent pharmacy degree Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. state or territory Previous outpatient or ambulatory pharmacy experience preferred Minimum 1–2 years of pharmacist experience (outpatient or hospital preferred) Current BLS certification (preferred) Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills Experience with EHR systems Must be a U.S. citizen Must be able to pass a federal security clearance Required immunizations must be up to date #J-18808-Ljbffr Eastern Shawnee Companies
