Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Friday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM | 5 Days/Week | 40 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $22 – $24/hr

Position Overview
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to support front and back-office clinical operations, including patient care, phlebotomy, scheduling, and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in addition to an externship.

• Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred.

• Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required.

• EMR experience required, including Athena EMR.

• Recent front and back-office clinical experience.

• Experience with EKG and Point-of-Care testing.

• Strong communication and computer skills.

• BLS/CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients and obtain vital signs.

• Schedule appointments and manage patient scheduling needs.

• Answer incoming phone calls.

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture.

• Administer vaccines as directed.

• Perform EKGs and Point-of-Care testing.

• Maintain accurate patient documentation in Athena EMR.

• Collect applicable patient fees.

• Provide clinical and administrative support as needed.

• Support health education and outreach activities.

• Maintain professional relationships with center staff.

• Follow established clinical, safety, and patient-care procedures.
