Duties
The duties include:
- Exercising exclusive law enforcement jurisdiction responsible for the apprehension or detention of persons suspected or convicted of offenses against the criminal laws of the United States.
- Serving as a police patrol officer enforcing Federal criminal laws and the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) involving persons and property.
- Protecting government property, materials, and facilities against trespass, theft, fire, damage, and espionage.
- Detaining or arresting suspected or guilty persons.
- Collecting and protecting evidence, witnesses, victims, etc.
- Arresting persons committing or suspected of committing crimes on the installation.
- Patrolling assigned area by vehicle or on foot to preserve the peace, prevent crime, and protect lives and property.
