Registered Nurse (RN) - NICUWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care to join our dynamic team. This role requires a high level of expertise and commitment to providing quality care for critically ill newborns.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to neonates in a level 4 NICU setting.Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions and side effects.Utilize necessary medical equipment and technologies, including oscillators, conventional ventilators, CPAP, and specialty gases.Perform line changes on PICC lines, Broviacs, UAC, UVC, and PAL lines.Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for patients.Document patient care and progress in electronic health records (Epic).Participate in unit initiatives and performance improvement activities.Float between assigned units as needed, including PICU & CVICU, and assist in neonatal care across multiple locations within the region.QualificationsRegistered Nurse with a valid California license; pending licenses are accepted if an ETA is confirmed.Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Level 4 NICU or strong Level 3 surgical experience.Current certifications in BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS preferred.Experience with complex neonatal care equipment and procedures.Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to various locations as needed.Flexibility in scheduling and availability to work weekends and holidays as required.Ability to float within scope of practice and meet facility needs.Work ScheduleFlexible shifts available: 3x12 hours (variable day/night or straight nights).Must be available for 2 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.No holiday request time off (RTO) allowed.Additional InformationJoin a renowned healthcare environment that fosters professional development and excellence in patient care.
