This senior-level Project Manager will oversee large-scale commercial drywall and metal framing projects typically valued at $3M–$5M+, managing everything from project startup and buyout through billing, change orders, field coordination and closeout. The role is primarily office-based in Acworth, Georgia, with periodic jobsite visits throughout Metro Atlanta and surrounding markets.The ideal candidate has built their career directly with a commercial drywall and framing subcontractor and understands both the construction and financial sides of running complex projects. They are looking for someone who can independently lead large jobs, protect profitability, and build strong relationships with general contractors, field teams, vendors, and clients.ResponsibilitiesLead commercial drywall and metal framing projects from contract review and project startup through completion and closeoutManage shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, engineering coordination and project revisions while identifying impacts to cost and scheduleOversee subcontractor and supplier buyout, vendor negotiations, material procurement and coordination with field operationsOwn project financial performance including cost tracking, budgeting, monthly billing, change orders, labor productivity and overall profitabilityPartner closely with General Superintendents, Foremen and subcontractors to maintain schedules, resolve issues and keep projects movingAttend jobsite coordination and scheduling meetings while maintaining strong relationships with GCs, owners, architects, vendors, and project partnersManage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously while maintaining accurate documentation, strong communication, and consistent executionRequirements5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial drywall contractorDirect experience working for a commercial drywall subcontractor with strong knowledge of drywall and metal framingProven experience managing large commercial projects valued at approximately $3M–$5M+Strong command of project financials including budgeting, cost control, billing, buyout, change orders and profitabilityExperience managing RFIs, submittals, vendors, subcontractors and coordination between office and field teamsStrong communication, organization, and technology skills with the ability to work effectively with GCs, owners, architects, vendors, and field personnelValid driver's license with proficiency in modern construction management platforms such as ACC, Procore or similar systemsBenefitsCompetitive base salary of $120,000–$140,000 DOEAnnual project profitability bonus with significant earning potential based on job performance and net profit$600 monthly vehicle allowance or company vehicle plus company fuel card for work-related drivingKaiser Permanente health coverage plus dental, AD&D, life insurance and bereavement benefits401(k) with company matching contributions of approximately 4%Two weeks of annual vacation, six sick/personal days and paid company holidaysRelocation assistance available for qualified candidatesIf you know commercial drywall inside and out and are ready to take full ownership of complex, high-value projects with your performance directly tied to your earning potential, apply today!
