Shift & Schedule: Day Shift, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM | Monday–Friday | 45 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $22–$24/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to provide front- and back-office support, assist with patient care and clinical procedures, and help maintain efficient clinic operations. The ideal candidate will have phlebotomy experience, EMR proficiency, and strong patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet, check in, and room patients.

• Obtain and document patient vital signs.

• Perform blood draws, phlebotomy, and venipuncture.

• Administer vaccines as directed.

• Perform EKG procedures and point-of-care (POC) testing.

• Schedule patient appointments and answer phone calls.

• Provide front- and back-office clinical support.

• Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures.

• Maintain accurate patient records using the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to support daily operations.

• Provide additional clinical assistance as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, excluding externship.

• Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred.

• Phlebotomy and venipuncture experience required.

• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required.

• Experience with EKG and POC testing preferred.

• Front- and back-office Medical Assistant experience.

• Current BLS or CPR certification required.

• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good computer skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment.
