CarpenterThis role is ideal for an experienced carpenter with a strong experience in remodeling and deck construction. You will contribute to a variety of construction projects, applying your carpentry skills from rough framing to installation work. The position offers the opportunity to transition to a direct role after an initial four-month period, providing stability and long-term career potential.ResponsibilitiesPerform carpentry work on remodeling projects, including framing, structural adjustments, and finish work as needed.Build and install decks, ensuring proper measurements, structural integrity, and quality workmanship.Use hand tools and basic construction equipment safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.Carry out general labor duties on the job site, such as material handling, site preparation, and cleanup.Install components and materials according to project specifications and instructions from supervisors.Execute rough carpentry tasks, including cutting, shaping, and assembling wood and other materials.Follow directions accurately and complete assigned work efficiently and to quality standards.Maintain a consistent work schedule by arriving on time and being ready to start work at the start of each shift.Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices to maintain a safe and organized job site.Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively to support smooth project execution.Essential SkillsProven carpentry experience with a focus on remodeling projects.Hands-on experience building and installing decks.Ability to perform rough carpentry, including framing and structural work.Proficiency in using hand tools and basic construction tools safely and effectively.Capability to perform general labor tasks in a construction environment.Strong reliability, with a consistent record of showing up on time.Ability to follow directions and work under supervision.Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.Additional Skills & QualificationsWillingness to take on a variety of construction and carpentry tasks as needed.Strong work ethic and ability to stay focused throughout the workday.Ability to work well as part of a team on active job sites.Interest in transitioning into a long-term, direct role after the initial period.Why Work Here?You join a team that values reliability, craftsmanship, and professional growth. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
