Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare and food services industry, is seeking a Food Preparation professional to join their dedicated team. As a Food Preparation team member, you will be an essential part of the culinary operations supporting the kitchen and food service departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a passion for food, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Food Preparation Location: Lakewood, NJ Pay Range: $20.00 per hour Shift: 8 Hour Shifts /Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday, with potential for flexible hours or additional shifts as needed. What’s the Job? Assist in preparing food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food prep areas Follow safety procedures and proper sanitation practices at all times Support the team in delivering high-quality food service to clients and staff Report to the front desk and identify yourself when entering the kitchen area, ensuring proper reporting protocols are followed What’s Needed? Experience working in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, healthcare, or retail food service environment Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards Ability to acquire food safety certification if not already obtained Basic math and counting skills for food handling and portioning Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal What’s in it for me?
