Associate Director, Operational Excellence
Tango Therapeutics
Tango Therapeutics seeks an Associate Director of Operational Excellence to design and implement standardized processes across Development, build organizational capabilities through targeted training, and drive continuous improvement and inspection readiness in a regulated biotech environment.
Responsibilities
- Own design, implementation, and optimization of assigned processes and systems across Development functions
- Translate strategic objectives into standardized, efficient, scalable, and inspection-ready processes
- Develop and deliver training on new processes, compliance expectations, and inspection readiness
- Identify inefficiencies and risks through data analysis; lead targeted improvement initiatives
- Support adoption of new processes through change management and ensure consistent application across teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field
- 8–10+ years operational excellence, process improvement, or leadership in regulated life sciences
- Proven experience designing and implementing end-to-end processes across multiple functions
- Hands-on experience designing and delivering process and role-based training programs
- Experience supporting audit and inspection readiness, documentation, and behavioral compliance
- Expertise in Lean and continuous improvement methodologies
- Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) or formal certification in process improvement (Six Sigma, Lean) preferred
