OR RN – Trauma

Schedule: Variable start times (7:00, 9:00) Night coverage may be required.

Requirements: Valid California RN license required BLS certification required 2 years of clinical experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho Experience in general, robotics, GU/GYN, plastics, and ENT procedures Familiarity with Epic EMR

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide safe and effective nursing care in the operating room for trauma and surgical patients. Assist in surgical procedures and collaborate with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care. Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies within the operating room setting. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and other safety standards. Participate in the orientation of new staff and contribute to ongoing education.

Compliance / Notes: Travelers may be required to float to affiliate facilities. One week of pre-approved time off is allowed. Expected to work during two of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Call is required, distributed equally every 6 weeks.
