Accounts Receivable Specialist

B&T USA is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist who will be responsible for day-to-day financial transactions including client billing, reconciliation, and various other transactional issues such as managing and updating customer information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Create invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
• Create reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requested.
• Analyze and processes accounts receivable in a timely manner.
• Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the CFO and/or other staff.
• Reconcile various accounts monthly, bringing any discrepancies to the attention of the Controller.
• Collaborate with the Controller to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic basis.
• Assist in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger.
• Copy, file, and retrieve materials for accounting department as needed.
• Communicate with managers and other departments about any changes of information.
• Understand and ensure compliance with all regulations concerning the department.
• Follow procedures and communicates regularly with Controller regarding problems or issues that impact ability to do job.
• File, maintain, and distribute accounting documents, records, and reports.

Required Education/Experience

• BA degree in business, accounting, or finance preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of FishBowl ERP software a plus.
• Must be able and willing to reprioritize on short notice and work on multiple simultaneous projects.

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Job Type

FT – Hourly On-Site Monday to Friday. May be required to work extended hours when needed to meet workload.

Pay Rate

$25.00 – $28.75 per hour
