About the Role:

The Concierge/Porter plays a vital role in enhancing the overall experience of residents and visitors within residential or commercial real estate properties. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the premises, and facilitating smooth daily operations. The Concierge/Porter acts as the first point of contact, addressing inquiries, managing deliveries, and coordinating with maintenance and security teams. By maintaining a welcoming and orderly environment, this role contributes significantly to tenant satisfaction and property reputation. Ultimately, the Concierge/Porter supports the property management team in creating a secure, efficient, and hospitable atmosphere for all occupants.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably within real estate or property management.
• Basic knowledge of building security and safety protocols.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning and porter duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in residential property management environments.
• Familiarity with security systems and access control technology.
• Additional language skills to assist a diverse resident population.
• Certification in first aid or emergency response.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications for logging and communication purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist residents, guests, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries, including packages and mail, ensuring proper documentation and timely distribution.
• Monitor building access and security systems, reporting any irregularities or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in common areas to uphold high standards of cleanliness and order.
• Coordinate with maintenance, housekeeping, and security teams to address tenant requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain logs and records related to building operations, visitor access, and incident reports.
• Provide information about building amenities, local services, and community events to residents and visitors.
