Staffing varies based on volume, including 1 Charge RN, 2-3 RNs, 2 Techs, and a clinical coordinator. Patient ratios are maintained at 3:1. Type of equipment used includes x-rays, preoperative tools, anesthesiology equipment, lab, electrocardiography, and EKG. Electronic medical records are managed through Meditech. Typical procedures performed include joint replacement, ENT surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, spine operations, urology, vascular surgery, podiatry, thoracic surgery, and plastic surgery. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, experienced in patient care, reliable, proficient in charting, a critical thinker, passionate, comfortable with multi-tasking, and possess excellent bedside manners. Dress code requirements include navy blue or royal blue scrubs. Surgical type scrubs are not acceptable. Candidates should be able to function as both a scrub and circulator across all service lines. Rotating weekends may be required.
