Production Controller

Locations: Livermore, CA
Pay Range: $28 – $38 per hour
Shift: Full-Time | Monday–Friday (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Controller to plan, coordinate, and monitor production activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring on-time delivery, efficient resource utilization, and smooth communication across departments.

You’ll serve as a key link between production, procurement, inventory, and customer-facing teams to keep operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer deadlines
• Coordinate material availability with procurement and inventory teams
• Create and track work orders to ensure accurate production execution
• Monitor production progress and resolve delays or bottlenecks
• Analyze capacity and adjust schedules to balance workload
• Track inventory levels and minimize shortages or excess
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, sales, engineering, and quality teams
• Prepare reports on production status, efficiency, and material usage
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in production control, scheduling, or manufacturing
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of electronic assembly and ability to read blueprints

Preferred:

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Production environment with a mix of desk and shop floor work
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods as needed
• Frequent use of tools, visual inspection, and detailed work
• Requires attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards

Pay Details: $28.00 to $38.00 per hour
