PCB Quality Inspector - Visual & Test Specialist

Quality Technician Department: Quality Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Charlestown, New Hampshire Description Job Title: Quality Technician Department: Quality Current Available Shift Schedule(s): 1st: 6:00am-2:30pm | 3rd: 10:00pm-6:30am Location: Charlestown, New Hampshire The Quality Technician is responsible for performing visual inspection on printed circuit boards and operating a variety of inspection and test equipment under close supervision. Job Details Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring conformance of product quality per customer specifications. Perform standardized quality control checks on products (visual inspections and tests utilizing inspection/test equipment). Adhere to standardized operating procedures and work instructions. Responsible for accurate and consistent data collection and documentation completion. Interpret customer specifications and blueprints. Follows established guidelines for safe material handling and protective gear. Adheres to environmental, health and safety standards at all times. Maintain a clean workspace and production floor. Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position. Scope: High attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Strong team orientation. Receptive to learning new skills and able to cross train in other departments. Education & Experience: High school diploma, GED or equivalent, Vocational Training preferred . Experience in Inspection, Testing equipment, or quality systems considered a plus. Physical demands & Abilities: Able to work 8 hour shifts plus overtime when needed. Able to lift up to 44 pounds/20kg. Able to bend, lean, sit and/or stand for entire shift. High level of manual dexterity. Ability to operate factory machines and use software to run computer-operated machinery. All Employees Shall: Perform all duties in a timely fashion to support production needs. Follow all procedures and work instructions. Elevate any compliance or maintenance issues. Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements. Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards. Attend scheduled EH&S training program. Actively support the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans. Recommend improved EH&S practices.
