About the Position

Candidates must have appropriate licensure for the specific role. Description: This is a 18-bed unit with a dedicated staff. The day shift consists of 1 Charge RN, 4 floor nurses, 1 HUC, and 1 CNA. The night shift has 1 Charge RN, 4 floor nurses, and 1 HUC/CNA. Patient ratios for RNs range from 1:4 to 1:6, while CNAs range from 1:9 to 1:18. A variety of equipment is utilized for mobilization, including lift equipment and cyclers for peritoneal dialysis. Electronic medical records are maintained using Cerner. Candidates with a BSN and certification as a peritoneal dialysis nurse are preferred. Ideal candidates will have a flexible personality, be comfortable with change, and demonstrate compassion and timeliness. Floating to similar units or serving as a sitter may be required. Weekend and holiday rotation is expected.
