What Makes This Opportunity Unique Join a team of 3 FT Registered Dietitians and an RDN intern who see patients from all units listed, 3 FT DTRs who screen patients, provide education as needed and help the RDNs. Work in a collaborative environment where caseloads are distributed evenly to promote balance and ensure a variety of patient acuity levels. Schedule Full-Time Position Rotating weekends and on-call expectations if any Holidays You’ll provide nutrition care for 85 medical/surgical beds and 60 acute psychiatric beds , ER Care unit, partial hospitalization program and outpatient unit. You will be helping patients navigate a variety of medical conditions and nutrition-related challenges throughout their recovery journey. Beyond direct patient care, you'll serve as a trusted nutrition expert within the healthcare team, partnering with physicians, nurses, therapists, and food service professionals to ensure patients receive comprehensive, compassionate care. Your expertise will influence not only nutritional outcomes but also patient satisfaction, quality initiatives, and the overall healing experience. Through collaboration, mentorship, and advocacy for nutrition-focused care, you’ll help create a culture where food supports recovery and wellness. What You’ll Do Complete nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans Provide nutrition interventions and monitor patient progress Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams during care conferences and discharge planning Recommend and manage therapeutic, enteral, and parenteral nutrition plans Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff Ensure compliance with regulatory and therapeutic diet standards Support patient satisfaction through collaboration with dining services Mentor dietetic interns, students, and new team members Contribute ideas and best practices that enhance patient satisfaction and the overall nutrition care experience. Completion of a didactic program in dietetics and supervised practice program approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), the credentialing agency for the American Dietetic Association. Preferred: Three years clinical/related experience and/or master's degree in related field. Bilingual in English and Spanish or Hmong.
