Schedule: 8 hr shifts, 5 days a week

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 /hr.

Open to considering experienced LVTs who are ready to step into a leadership role and take on additional responsibilities within the hospital.

\n

\n VCA Elgin Family Pet Center in Elgin, TX, is seeking a highly experienced Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our leadership team as Technician Supervisor.

\n

\n The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.

\n This is a working supervisory position which is responsible for the leadership and of the Veterinary Technician Staff. In addition to all Veterinary Technician responsibilities, duties will include, but are not limited to:
\n • Implementing department policies and procedures.
\n • Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings.
\n • Enforcing charge captures.
\n • Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs.
\n • Record keeping.
\n • Marketing. 
\n • Facility maintenance.
