Director, Finance Strategy & Analytics Curriculum Associates is seeking a Director, Finance Strategy & Analytics to serve as a versatile, analytically rigorous individual reporting to the AVP of Finance and partnering with senior leadership across the business. This role blends financial modeling, business case development, GTM and commercial analysis, pricing and packaging, and executive/Board-level storytelling. The impact you'll have: Financial Modeling & Business Case Development Build financial models and business cases to evaluate new products, market opportunities, partnerships, and other growth initiatives, quantifying the impact on revenue, margin, and shareholder value Bring analytical rigor and sound business judgment to key financial and commercial decisions, drawing on a breadth of data sources and a cross-functional perspective Partner with the AVP of Finance and senior leaders to translate open-ended business questions into structured analyses and clear recommendations Support scenario and sensitivity modeling for top-line growth initiatives, go-to-market changes, and other cross-functional decisions GTM & Commercial Analysis Conduct market research, competitive intelligence, and analysis to evaluate growth opportunities, GTM approaches, and top-line performance across the business Support evaluation of new market entry, product bundling, and commercial partnership opportunities, partnering with the Strategy team where initiatives overlap Own analysis and recommendations on deal commercials and non-standard deal structures — including discounting, payment plans, and contract escalations — partnering with Sales, Sales Operations, and Legal Serve as a Finance escalation point for complex contract terms and deal structuring, providing timely guidance to Sales and Deal Desk Executive & Board Communication Build compelling, data-driven presentations and materials that tell a clear story for executive and Board audiences, including QBRs and other recurring leadership forums Translate complex financial and commercial analysis into clear, actionable narratives for senior, non-technical audiences Partner with the AVP of Finance and CFO to prepare materials that connect financial results and commercial performance to broader business decisions Pricing & Packaging Own the pricing model — aligning list prices, discount schedules and tiers, multi-year discount structures, and bundles/packages with business objectives and market positioning Lead the annual pricing and packaging review process across CA's product portfolio, including competitive benchmarking and cross-functional alignment Chair the Pricing Committee, the forum for reviewing and approving pricing decisions across customized products, state list submissions, new products, and the annual pricing review Build and maintain the pricing, packaging, and deal analytics and KPI suite, including win rates, deal sizes, and margin by area/product Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership Manage and develop a small analytics team supporting pricing, commercial, and GTM analysis Serve as a flexible analytical resource and thought partner, plugging into new priorities and cross-functional initiatives as business needs evolve What we're looking for: Strong financial modeling and business case development skills, with the ability to build models from scratch to evaluate new initiatives, deals, and growth opportunities Analytical acumen with mastery of Excel and the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights Skilled at building compelling, data-driven presentations that tell a clear story for executive and Board audiences Versatility to flex across financial modeling, GTM/commercial analysis, and pricing depending on evolving business priorities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate across functions Working knowledge of pricing and packaging strategy for SaaS, subscription, or multi-year contract businesses Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder work on tight timelines Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or related discipline, or equivalent experience; MBA preferred 6+ years of experience in finance, investment banking, management consulting, or a similar analytical function, with demonstrated financial modeling and executive-facing communication skills Experience in SaaS, subscription, or education technology strongly preferred; exposure to pricing, commercial deal structuring, or GTM strategy is a plus Hybrid Model: We operate with an intentional hybrid approach that balances in-office collaboration and connection (3 days/biweekly for Billerica) and remote (work from home) days. The role also includes occasional travel, as applicable, for in-person meetings, company events, and conferences. Benefits and Pay Range Pay Range – This role’s range is $126,750 - $233,750. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
