SQL DBA
Syntricate Technologies
Job Title
Required Skills:
- Installation and Configuration of SQL database servers
- Managing Support of Prod, Dev, QA, test environments
- OS Knowledge- Windows, Linux, AIX, AWS EC2
- SQL Server cluster Creation, Configuration and maintenance
- Monitor Performance of all database servers
- Access Management
- Space Management
- Server Health check reports
- Follow database best practices
- Ensure all database servers are backed up so we can meet the business Recovery Time Objective (RTO)
- Troubleshoot SQL Server and Oracle database server
- Performance tuning database servers
- Migrate/Upgrade/Patching database servers as and when required
- Deploy database change scripts provided as approved
- Backup and recovery using Rubirk tool
- Supporting DR and HA solutions
- Inventory Management (maintaining OS/server/equipment information managed by the engineers, Server resource detail, allocation, licensing info, end of life details, etc.)
- Documentation of processes
- On-call support
