Career Opportunities with Greencroft Communities Laundry Aide Hamilton Grove – Greencroft Communities Pay: $13.18–$16.83/hr (based on experience) Schedule: Part-Time | Monday, Friday, and every other weekend Job Overview Hamilton Grove, part of Greencroft Communities, is a nonprofit senior living facility seeking a dependable Laundry Aide . This role supports resident care by handling commercial laundry services , including linens and personal clothing in a healthcare environment. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in laundry services, housekeeping, environmental services (EVS), or healthcare support roles who enjoy structured morning shifts and meaningful work with older adults. Key Responsibilities Operate commercial washers, dryers, and laundry equipment Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and linens Ensure accurate return of personal items to residents and units Inspect garments for stains, damage, or special care needs Handle laundry chemicals safely following facility procedures Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of laundry work areas Follow infection control and safety standards in a healthcare setting Report equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly Support housekeeping and campus operations as needed Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Experience in laundry, housekeeping, EVS, or healthcare support preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced senior living or healthcare environment Strong attention to detail and organization skills Ability to follow safety procedures and resident care guidelines Team-oriented with strong communication skills Compassionate approach to working with older adults Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 60 lbs occasionally and 30 lbs frequently Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motion Ability to push/pull carts and handle bulk laundry loads Must be able to perform visual inspections and follow safety protocols Why Work at Hamilton Grove Nonprofit senior living community focused on resident care Consistent weekday morning schedule (no evenings or weekends) Supportive healthcare and housekeeping team environment Opportunity to work in a mission-driven organization serving older adults #J-18808-Ljbffr
