Job Description Job Description CNC LATHE OPERATOR Location: Paterson, NJ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM Pay Rate: $28.00/hour, based on experience and skills Job Summary We are looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC lathes, reading blueprints, and performing quality inspections. Experience with HAAS CNC equipment is preferred. Responsibilities Complete multiple CNC machine setups, including adjusting tool lengths and offsets. Set up and operate HAAS CNC lathes and mills. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Perform first-article inspections and ensure parts meet specifications. Machine aluminum and stainless-steel materials. Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy. Learn and operate additional machine types, including Kiwa. Follow safety and quality procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience setting up and operating HAAS CNC lathes/mills preferred. Experience machining aluminum and stainless steel. Mastercam programming knowledge preferred. Strong understanding of basic math and geometry. Basic computer skills. Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Pay: $28.00/hour, depending on experience and skills Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM Location: Paterson, NJ
