About the Role We're a small, dynamic team based in San Francisco, looking for a Product Engineer. In this in‑person role, you’ll wear multiple hats, interact directly with our customers, and shape the future of our product. This challenging, dynamic role places you at the forefront of distributed systems, infrastructure, and data engineering. Responsibilities Talk to customers (technical and engineering) to streamline their workflows and improve the product UX. Build new features such as column exclusion, encryption, schema‑change alerts, and more. Improve internal tooling and build automation to ship features faster and manage infrastructure easier. Qualifications Strong fundamentals in computer science (or related field). 4+ years of web development experience, preferably at startups. Pragmatic—focus on building the right thing over being right. Comfortable navigating different stack layers and wearing various hats. Passionate about building products that are easy to use and extensible. Proficiency writing in Go is preferred, but not necessary. Will work in‑person 5 days/week in San Francisco’s Financial District with the team. Tech Stack Frontend: TypeScript (React and Material‑UI) Backend: Go, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch Infra: Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm on GCP and AWS Compensation & Benefits $150K–$215K base salary, depending on experience.
