Maintenance Tech

We're looking for a reliable, hands‑on In‑House Maintenance Technician to join our team. You'll be the go‑to person for keeping our facility, kitchen, and equipment running smoothly — from general repairs and plumbing to commercial kitchen equipment like TurboChef ovens, freezers/refrigeration units, and coffee machines. No specific certification on our equipment is required — we provide full training on TurboChef ovens, refrigeration systems, and coffee/beverage equipment. What matters most is a strong general maintenance/handyman background and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities Perform general facility maintenance and repairs (plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, power washing etc.) Diagnose and repair kitchen equipment including TurboChef ovens, freezers, refrigerators, and coffee machines Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment and building systems Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns Maintain an inventory of tools, parts, and supplies Coordinate with outside vendors/contractors for specialized repairs when needed Keep accurate maintenance logs and repair records Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes Assist with setup/breakdown for facility needs as required Qualifications Proven experience as a maintenance technician, handyman, or similar role Working knowledge of basic plumbing repair (leaks, clogs, fixtures, etc.) Comfortable troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment Experience with commercial kitchen or refrigeration equipment is a plus, but not required — training provided Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage time/priorities Good communication skills Ability to lift 50+lbsand perform physical tasks (bending, climbing ladders, standing for extended periods) Valid driver's license What We Offer Competitive hourly wage / salary On‑the‑job training for specialized equipment (TurboChef, Refrigeration, coffee machines) [Benefits: health insurance.] Stable, in‑house position (not contract/temp) [Growth opportunities within the company] Schedule [Full-time, Monday–Friday / includes weekends / on-call #J-18808-Ljbffr
