Lead Engineer, Product Catalog

Driving the technical direction for product data systems, the full-time remote Lead Engineer, Product Catalog will manage critical catalog systems, design scalable services, and lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance product data quality and merchandising efficiency. Key responsibilities Own and evolve critical catalog systems, including product onboarding and validation workflows Design and operate scalable services and data models to ensure accurate product information Independently lead initiatives from concept through production rollout, including technical design and implementation Required qualifications 5+ years of software engineering experience with a proven impact in complex domains Experience in building and operating large-scale production systems or product information systems Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Go, Java, Ruby, or Python Familiarity with relational databases like Postgres or MySQL Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
